Description
The Possible and the redundant a show with work of Arjen Lancel and Maaike Visser.
In the exhibition the space of De Pleinkamer is explored in combining artworks of the two artist embracing possibilities and redundancies in a playful way. The exhibition consists of site specific work, installations, murals and ornaments.
The work of Maaike Visser is inspired by ornaments and decorative patterns in relation to spatial possibilities. She investigates visual accents that arise when order is broken. Looking for deviations from regularities. The work reads as a system of coordinates being mapped.
